Federal Tech Workers Quit in Protest Over Musk’s DOGE Efforts
A group of workers from the US Digital Service, a White House office that was refashioned into Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency in recent weeks, have resigned in protest of the billionaire’s actions to dismantle federal agencies and dismiss workers.
Twenty-one employees of the US Digital Service said they would step down Tuesday. The departures follow a wave of termination notices issued earlier this month at the agency, which reported having roughly 224 workers as of last year.
