Predatory Lender Freed by Trump Arrested Again on New Charge

Jonathan Braun, the loan shark freed from prison by President Donald Trump in 2021, was arrested for a second time since his release and charged with grabbing a nanny in a sexual manner.

Braun, 41, was arrested by the Nassau County police on Feb. 28 on one misdemeanor count of forcible touching, court records show. The nanny, who was employed by Braun, told a detective that he entered her bedroom on the morning of Feb. 15 and grabbed her while rubbing his genitals, the police said in a court filing. Braun has pleaded not guilty, the records show.
