Namibia’s New Leader Vows to Speed Up Reforms, Tackle Graft

Namibia’s freshly sworn-in president informed her first cabinet meeting that she’d have zero tolerance for bureaucratic delay to policy reforms.

“There will be no business as usual,” Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said Tuesday. “Decisions taken must be implemented without any delay,” she told her colleagues, according to a text of her opening remarks.
