Optimism around Brazilian equities is gaining momentum, with investors plowing money into iShares MSCI Brazil ETF as interest rates approach their peak and low valuations appeal to traders looking to move out of the US.

EWZ, as the exchange-traded fund is known, has received over $464 million in May and is heading for its biggest monthly inflow since September 2021. In the year to date, the ETF has recorded more than $586 in inflows, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
