Congo Signs Digital-Identification Deal With Singapore’s Trident

Democratic Republic of Congo signed an agreement with Trident Digital Tech Holdings Ltd. of Singapore to develop a national digital identity and e-government system.

Nasdaq-listed Trident will work with Congo’s Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs to provide secure access to government services, the company said in an emailed statement Wednesday.
