Hotel Chocolat, a British premium chocolate maker acquired by Mars Inc., is tapping its new owner’s firepower to expand in the US.

The chocolatier opened two stores in Chicago earlier this year, and is opening another location on the city’s outskirts this week, followed by a couple more later this year, Chief Executive Officer Angus Thirlwell said in an interview. The company is also planning to open more stores next year, with New York, Boston and Los Angeles among the cities being considered.
