A group of Filipinos on Friday challenged the Supreme Court’s decision that invalidated the impeachment case against Philippine Vice President Sara Duterte, who was accused of threatening the life of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

They filed a motion for reconsideration before the high court, which unanimously ruled last week that the complaint against Duterte violated the constitutional rule that only one impeachment proceeding may be initiated against the same official within one year.
