JPMorgan, GoldenTree Fund Purchase of NYC Tower on Fifth Avenue
JPMorgan Chase & Co. and GoldenTree Asset Management loaned $675 million to real estate developer Naftali Group for its purchase of a luxury Manhattan apartment building, according to people with the knowledge of the matter.
The financing helped Naftali complete the deal it struck earlier this year to buy 800 Fifth Ave. for more than $800 million from Winter Organization and Spitzer Enterprises, the property firm run by former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer.
