WhiteWater Agrees to Proceed With Building Texas Gas Pipeline

Photographer: Jordan Vonderhaar/BloombergA group led by WhiteWater Midstream has agreed to proceed with building a pipeline to bring more natural gas from the Permian Basin in West Texas to the Houston area.
The Eiger Express Pipeline will transport as much as 2.5 billion cubic feet per day of gas, according to a statement Monday. The project, a joint venture of WhiteWater, MPLX LP, Oneok Inc. and Enbridge Inc., will follow the path of Matterhorn Express pipeline, which runs about 580 miles (933 kilometers).
