Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has relieved the police chief from his post, less than three months since being promoted to the job.

In a letter dated Aug. 25 made public on Tuesday, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin ordered relieved police chief Gen. Nicolas Torre to ensure proper turnover of all matters.
