Pittsburgh is a city with many steep hills and many, many bridges. The structures are a big draw for travelers to the Steel City, and a point of pride for its residents. For Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business Dean Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou, the bridges—more than 440—are and have been an apt metaphor for the priorities at the business school.
